I am presently at North Carolina Central University (USA) as Fulbright Visiting Faculty. With 15+ years of research/professional experience in geospatial technologies, I focus more on spatial techniques for integrated risk assessments, watershed
modelling, fluvial dynamics, public health and environmental datasets. My research interests are usually interdisciplinary in nature. I have received funds from DST, SERB, ICMR, ICSSR, UGC and others for research and consultancy works. I have published 50+ research articles in journals, including
publications in reputed remote sensing, earth science, and public health journals. I am serving as Assistant Editor
of the Indian Geographical Journal. I also received the Young
Geographer Award and Young Scientist Fellowship, respectively from the National Association of Geographers, India (NAGI) and TNSCST (Govt. of Tamil Nadu).
